I was just about to add that! It's a metronym, like Wall Street, Main Street, Broadway, Madison Avenue, Capitol Hill, The Pentagon, The White House, Washington [DC], <state capital> etc Jason McHuff 10:01, 25 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
