Adib’s election as PM - vote count[edit]

The lead and the citation source say he got 90 of 120 votes, with 14 going to Nawaf Salam, 3 to others and 13 no shows. But there are 128 seats in Lebanon’s parliament. Could someone explain the difference of 8 here? Thank you! 314WPlay (talk) 18:19, 1 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@314WPlay: At the time, 8 MPs resigned an they have not been replaced. --Maudslayer (talk) 05:59, 25 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Misdate: Adib didn't take office on August 31[edit]

On that day he was merely designated by president Aoun. As of September 8, Hassan Diab, resigned on August 10, remains the prime minister of Lebanon in acting capacity. --Zarateman (talk) 19:01, 8 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
