Bogi (talk) 08:36, 19 October 2008 (UTC) is the discussion closed?[reply]

It is - no consensus defaults to keep. Adding more independent reliable sources will ensure that the article stays on Wikipedia. - Eldereft (cont.) 03:34, 18 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Bogi (talk) 10:50, 19 December 2008 (UTC) It is difficult to find refences about Mpiri. Reasons for this: The choir is faroese and most press coverage will be faroese. However the two main newspapers (Sosialurin and Dimmalætting) have their online versions locked down with password protection, so no references can be used from these sites. Eventhough the Faroe Islands are very much on the forefront with technologies such as the Internet, the population is only 48.000 and there are not many articles published on wikipedia by faroese. Therefore it is not possible to find wiki-references about Mpiri and it is not likely that anyone without contact to Mpiri should publish an artcle about Mpiri. Therefore after waiting for several years, I took it upon me to start this article.[reply]

I have added two external referances to Mpiri, not written or influenced in any way by me. An article from an Icelandic newspaper referencing our tour of Iceland in 2002, and an Finnish article referencing a concert we held on our tour there in 2004. I found the articles on the Internet using google. This should prove reliability of these articles.

Bogi (talk) 22:09, 14 September 2009 (UTC) I added one more article - a review of a CD Mpiri appeared on. The band Valravn asked Mpiri to join them on one song, and the magazine GAFFA gave the CD 5 of 6 stars, mentioning Mpiri as spreading gold over the grand finale. The writer of that article - Torben Holleufer - is not known to Mpiri.[reply]

Bogi (talk) 22:49, 18 May 2010 (UTC)I have added a link to review (in faroese), giving 98% to a concert we had with Eivør when she released her new album Larva. Eivør who should be a reliable independent source, references Mpiri on her wiki-page. Can I remove the "no independent cites" warning on the Mpiri page?[reply]
