Geology[edit]

The rock is granite and it's only 15,000 years old? That seems implausible to me, though I'm not a geologist. I don't see how granite (a plutonic rock, formed deep underground) would be brought to the surface, exposed, and formed into a mountain that quickly. I'd love to see a citation. 206.208.105.129 (talk) 18:56, 29 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The elevation, latitude and longitude do not match the values from reference 2. In particular, the longitude should be W (as in North America) instead of E (as in China).

Ref 2 gives 7638/2328 484514N 1212853W, instead of 7680ft/2340m 47°29′26″N 121°18′04″E.
