This page has been marked for deletion due to notability, I wish to disagree. The software, though specialised, is recognised by its peer group in the electric machine design field and has many users and papers presented and published in IEEE journals. Unfortunately due to copyright reasons links to these papers cannot be given.

You can still cite the work without giving links to the papers. Citations can be for books and published articles ect too. They do not solely have to be web links. Check out this article: Wikipedia:Cite for information on citations. Microsoft#Notes_and_references will give you an example of citations with no links at all.--TParis00ap (talk) 15:05, 11 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Ownership & Licensing situation.....?[edit]

What's the legal and commercial status of this software?

A google search turned up several versions under different brands, none of which are available to customers.

The latest version seems to be "Motor-CAD v6.1" but there's no apparent means of purchasing and downloading the software from the motor-design site.

Is this some kind of anti-piracy measure? Is the software for sale? 126.165.139.185 (talk) 06:18, 9 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
