Deleted. crossfire information[edit]
Crossfire was deleted by my part because the page supporting information did not exist, or at least did exist until it was deleted. IF anyone happens to come across crossfire website or suitable reference for this data. please restore deleted information and in CrossFire, a MMO shooter. Most Valuable Player → Most valuable player – Per WP:NCCAPS, this is about a type of award, not a specific one. Compare to Man of the match. This also may be part of a practice of capitalizing initial letters in phrases that form initialisms or acronyms (cf.). I think there's also a case to be made for MVP as the title, which I would also support. BDD (talk) 18:37, 29 May 2014 (UTC)
- Move to MVP because I see the logic in the proposed title but I can't bring myself to support it--it's just too uncommon. MVP would be perfect. Red Slash 16:09, 30 May 2014 (UTC)
- The term is not widely used in all English-speaking countries. The unabbreviated title does more of a service to all readers and avoids WP:GEOBIAS. — AjaxSmack 08:38, 1 June 2014 (UTC)
- Support most valuable player per nom but oppose MVP. MVP may meet the standard for an acronym title set at WP:ACRONYMTITLE (the entries at MVP (disambiguation) are minor and/or derivative) but the acronym is rarely used across a wide swath of the English-speaking world. A general encyclopaedia with a worldwide audience would be better served with the also very common unabbreviated form (like man of the match). — AjaxSmack 08:38, 1 June 2014 (UTC)

- This is not controversial per WP:RMUM. I have posted a request at WP:RM#Requests to revert undiscussed moves instead. The onus should be on those disputing the above move to use the RM process and propose a move. — AjaxSmack 20:50, 2 July 2017 (UTC)
- OPPOSE MVP or Most Valuable Player is a special term/award used in sports articles. As a specific phrase, all three letters should be capitalised. 120.16.209.13 (talk) 07:04, 3 July 2017 (UTC)
