Pronoun gender[edit]

"Viennese soprano Fritzi Scheff had already built a following at the Metropolitan Opera when Victor Herbert engaged her to appear in his operettas for an astonishing $1,000 a week. She starred in four of her operettas, beginning with Babette (1903)." Shouldn't this say that she starred in four of HIS (Victor Herbert) operettas?Jtyroler (talk) 13:16, 24 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Herbert recorded an instrumental version of "Kiss Me Again" for Victor, issued in 1918. An earlier attempt was made by him in 1912 but none of the three takes was issued.

There are two versions of the introduction to this song. The first, starting "If I were on the stage," was used in the musical in 1905. The second, beginning, "Ah! dear one! How often I think of the past! Can it be you forget?" is much shorter. The copyright on my sheet music of this version is 1914. Both lyrics are credited to Blossom. The second part, the waltz, beginning "Sweet summer breeze" is used in both.
