Untitled comment[edit]

The link to the co-writer of the song "Jeremy Paul" is to the wrong Jeremy Paul (a sportsman). Unfortunately the right Jeremy Paul (a screenwriter) doesn't have a Wikipedia page I can repoint it to. This is the website of the right Mr Paul: http://www.jpaulwriting.com/jeremy_paul_biography.html Here is a BBC New article with an interview with him about the writing of the song: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/7787675.stm Bob. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 138.104.73.100 (talk) 13:34, 22 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Credit for the singer at the end of the song[edit]

There is a kid singing at the end of the song "Mistletoe and Wine" in a majour way (Please check http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=asq7TW4bRBU ). This kid should be credited for his part in the single, yet sadly his name remains a mystery. Any help? He should be definitly mentioned in our article on the song werldwayd (talk) 02:20, 16 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have found the boy's name (James Rainbird) and have added it. :) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.113.71.131 (talk) 22:28, 11 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

User:Keithstrachan posted the following text in an edit last month [1]:

As a first party I can confirm this information. Around August 1988 Peter Gormley, Cliff's manager, (or possibly it was Stuart Ongley his publisher) rang me to say that Cliff loved the song and had already recorded it but had made a few minor changes to the lyric to make it more personal. It was emphasised that Cliff was not asking for any credit or royalty for his contribution. Before hearing the recording, Leslie Stewart the lyricist had concerns that the amended lyrics didn't fit the tune. On hearing the recording Leslie's concerns were assuaged even though the sense of the lyric had been altered. (Keith Strachan 2013)

While this is useful to know, posting as a first party may be in contravention of policies such as WP:RS and WP:COI. I've moved the comment here instead. --RFBailey (talk) 23:26, 18 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
