What's the (fictional?) name of the General the US ambassador is meeting? it sounds like Videla Vimena or so. Is he Pinochet? Or is it General Lutz? Who are Herbert Porterfield? Ray Tower? Almirante Huidobro (Admiral Huidobro) set the date to overthrow the elected government to be Tuesday 11th of September. He attended the notorioius Fort Benning, USA, School of the Americas where many Latino-american leaders and human rights-violators had been trained. [more info here].

Someone should add that this movie was also released on RCA's format CED Videodisc. I don't have the references (I don't know how to properly do that)...but I own the videodisc so I know it exists. US involvement[edit]
