Merge[edit]

I believe that there is no justification in having separate articles for a minister and a ministry. Testament to that is that these have remained stubs for a long time, and mainly have the exact same information. —Ynhockey (Talk) 23:27, 28 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • Ministry of Transport and Road Safety had been recently created, while the minister one had not. I would be fine with a merge, but I would prefer it be merged into the "Ministry of Transport and Road Safety" article. WhisperToMe (talk) 17:04, 30 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
That's exactly what I was proposing. Did you mean the opposite? In any case, I believe the article should be about the ministry, because that would incorporate the position of minister, while the opposite would not be true. —Ynhockey (Talk) 20:04, 9 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I meant that the ministry article should be the survivor. In that case I agree with your position. :) WhisperToMe (talk) 20:19, 9 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Similar merge for all ministry pages[edit]

I think it might be a good idea to apply this kind of merger to all Israeli ministers/ministries, and rename the articles.--Delishisoup (talk) 12:35, 12 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
