Born in 1951?[edit]

I can't believe that a 13 year old boy was introduced to some leading figures of the 1960s. And produced a legendary cover photography for the Beatles at the age of 16. He also planned to direct Clockwork Orange with Mick Jagger at the age of 16... Hmmm, this must be wrong. --Catgut 01:16, 27 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You're right Michael was born 16th May 1941 in Huddersfield England 86.15.225.16 23:18, 2 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Wrong caption[edit]

MICHAEL COOPER -- PHOTOGRAPHER

The photo with the article is identified as:

"(Concertgebouw Amsterdam, 1971)"

Can't be 1971. The caption correctly identifies Brian Jones, who died in 1969.

From the clothes, I'm guessing 1967. Previous edit added by 150.5.65.195

Quite right: thank you 150.5.65.195, you were right. Date was 1 Sept. 1967. Vysotsky (talk) 14:47, 25 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I worked for Michael in the late sixties as his assistant -a dream job for a sixteen year old ! I remember him as a"dylanesque" figure -

short and thin with masses of curly hair. He was a charming and kind man of great talent - an unfortunate victim of the dark side of the swinging sixties.

== My Brother Michael ==

To the person who spotted the date of birth this is incorrect he was born in 1941 not 1951 as stated, he was my elder brother by four years David Cooper —Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.242.222.133 (talk) 21:46, 10 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
