Trees[edit]

I think the fact that trees are a major problem during hurricanes should be elaborated on. 68.238.118.237 22:29, 28 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

NPOV Dispute - Significant Historical Landmarks[edit]

I have a specific problem with this line here:

"The outside of the Curtiss Mansion has been restored through the tireless efforts of the Curtiss Mansion Board, which consists of local activists and celebrated architects."

I may be biased also, but as a long time citizen of Miami Springs, I saw absolutely nothing relating to "tireless effort" or "celebrated architects". Generally my problem here is not with the board, but with the tone of this segment in particular.

Also,I find calling the title of this section 'Significant' Historical Landmarks a little misleading. Sure, the town does have many historic buildings, but using the word 'significant' seems to imply that the Curtiss Mansion in particular is greater than all the other landmarks simply because it housed Mr. Curtis.
