"Women's role" section removed[edit]

Hi,

About a quarter of this article is is speculative comment on a fairly irrelevant (gender) aspect of the conflict, and it spends a couple of paragraphs saying nothing of substance. Not every article needs a "Women's Role" section and here it adds nothing of value. I've removed it.

"Pinochet moment"[edit]

Under the Aftermath section I don't understand what is meant by "Mexico never had its 'Pinochet moment' in regards to the war." Is this a reference to the Rettig and Valech Commissions that investigated Human rights violations in Pinochet's Chile? A quick google search didn't reveal an obvious answer either.

If so, I think hyperlinking the above article and a short sentence explaining what "Pinochet moment" means would be beneficial to this page. BrokeBox (talk) 17:03, 4 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
