earlier comment[edit]

Might be useful to get a rundown of who was Artistic Director when, so that Wal Cherry gets a mention. His three to four years at the helm provide an interesting insight into Melbourne's culture and society - more Arthur Miller and Bertolt Brecht being effectively snubbed, with John Sumner reinstalled. Any takers? 10:15, 3 May 2006 (UTC) B.E.

When was the MTC name adopted?[edit]

It would be helpful to know in exactly what year the name MTC was formalised. The History section mentions the original Union Theatre (1953-?) and then blurs into MTC without specifying. I can remember attending a 1963 or 1964 performance of Hamlet by the Union Theatre, so MTC must have come along later than that. Cheers Bjenks (talk) 08:22, 5 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
