References[edit]

Can we have some references for the numbers of almost 300, please? There's a book about the campaign called Mae rhywun yn gwybod ("Somebody knows") and twice that gives the figure of 228 recorded incidents in total (ie, holiday homes, estate agents, the lot). Once in the foreword and once at the end of chapter 6. Where did the figures currently in the article come from? --Telsa 12:34, 16 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I have a record of M. B. being mentioned in The Times much earlier than 1979;

Poison Scare In Reservoir Valley

(News) FROM OUR CORRESPONDENT.
The Times Dec 24, 1962; pg. 4; Issue 55582; Start column: G 139 words.

M.B. sent a letter to the Birmingham Corporation claiming they had buried 'bottles of poison' at the proposed site of the Clywedog dam. The reasoning was that if heavy machinery was used thebottles would be smashed and contaminate the water supply. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.21.177.186 (talk) 04:45, 19 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

R.S. Thomas[edit]

He was not an advocate of M.G. to be fair, his comments were not in support of the burning campaign per se; the article should make that clear. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 147.143.250.249 (talk) 18:42, 1 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
