How come my paragraph regarding the fact that this is the first game you can earn stars on the title screen and how they are earned keeps getting deleted?76.177.174.82 09:00, 23 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Because Wikipedia is not GameFAQs. You may note that this is the first game to include the stars, and an explanation that the stars serve to indicate progress in the game, in fact I encourage you to, but saying how to get them constitutes gameguide information which we try to keep out of this encyclopedia. --Niroht 02:43, 24 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Requested move[edit]

MegaMan Battle Network 2Mega Man Battle Network 2 — Capcom spells it as 2 words instead of 1 word in CamelCase [1]. I'm also suggesting all the other MMBN articles be moved as well, I would except somebody already made them redirects TJ Spyke 00:42, 16 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support it is the proper name and all the games in the other Mega Man series have a space for Mega Man. There is no reason not to have one here. --69.156.204.183 02:27, 2 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support. Official names have the space. --- RockMFR 03:22, 4 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support, the CamelCase varriant appears to be a layout eccentricity. - Cyrus XIII 22:31, 5 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Megaman box.jpg[edit]

Image:Megaman box.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 22:31, 5 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Gospel.jpg[edit]

File:Gospel.jpg This Image is a picture of Gospel from The official Megaman Battle Network 2 site. Please tell me why you removed it.

Most likely, it wasn't added to the page correctly (thus breaking formatting or flow of the page.) While it wasn't the best action, it's sometimes hard to tell intent of certain edits. --Sigma 7 (talk) 17:58, 27 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Profanity in the game[edit]

Holy cow! I didn't expect this game to contain a little bit of bad language despite being rated E! But did someone really say "crap" in this game? If so, then when? All I know is that Gauss Magnets (Magnus) said "Damn it to hell!" a short time after his first defeat with Lan. Why on earth would anyone say something like that in a kid's game??? You can see another conversation similar to this one here. 50.88.15.96 (talk) 00:23, 22 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I must point out that Wikipedia is not a forum; this discussion page is exclusively for discussing the article's content or potential changes to the article. - The New Age Retro Hippie used Ruler! Now, he can figure out the length of things easily. 00:31, 22 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I know, but I'm here to discuss why there were swear words in Mega Man Battle Network 2, an E-rated game. 50.88.15.96 (talk) 19:57, 22 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
The only way that this discussion is relevant to the article is if you are suggesting that we make mention of the curse words in the article, which would be original research without proper references. - The New Age Retro Hippie used Ruler! Why is there cursing in this game???[edit]

I've seen dirty words in Mega Man Battle Network 2 (a video game that was rated "E" by the ESRB and did not receive a Mild Language qualifier, just like Mega Man 7, Mega Man X3, and Mega Man X4) like damn, hell, and crap, which REALLY makes the game seem out of place. Other elements of subject matter somehow allowed under the game's ESRB rating include the nude references with Yai Ayanokoji and Mayl Sakurai, one minor character urging Lan to "go suck his momma's milk" as Lan tries to get some sort of alchoholic container to trap a highly venomous spider, and an old lady saying, "Oh my God..." Why on earth was that??? 50.88.12.61 (talk) 19:06, 11 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
