Fair use rationale for Image:Giovanni Falcone.jpg[edit]

Image:Giovanni Falcone.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

The acquittal in October 2002 and readmission as magistrate in 2007 is described and partially sourced at Corrado Carnevale and it:Corrado Carnevale. Otto (talk) 14:13, 4 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia is not a reliable source. You are probably right, but a reliable source would be appreciated. The article lacks proper references, but let us at least reference the new information that is added. - DonCalo (talk) 17:08, 4 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Reasons for use of Multiple Issues Template[edit]

I have added the multiple issues template to the head of this page due to the Trial, Verdict, Appeals, and Aftermath sections. None of the four sections have any citations, to any source, relevant or irrelevant. I also feel that the language used is biased against the defendants on an emotional basis. Language like:
"Testifying against the Corleonesi was the only way he [Tommaso Buscetta] had left of avenging his murdered family and friends."
"and many were not exactly doing hard-time"
"One convicted Mafioso had a private hospital ward to himself and had several common (non-Mafiosi) criminals as his servants, supposedly while suffering from a brain tumor that, suspiciously, did not show any symptoms whatsoever."
"resulting in many Mafiosi who had recently swaggered out of prison after their convictions were overturned being unceremoniously rounded up and put back behind bars"
Indicate an emotional response rather than the even tone expected from a neutral article. This may be due to an over-use of adverbs.

How is making something ...[edit]

... sound like more idiomatic formal English, removing an unencyclopaedic contraction, and removing an unwarranted capitalisation considered to be poor editing? 2600:1004:B107:469D:F01A:FE4:9D2F:888C (talk) 00:41, 18 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
