Miedinger and Stempel AG/Linotype[edit]

This discussion at typophile cites a book by one Robert Norton titled "Types Best Remembered/Types Best Forgotten", in which Dr Peter Karow from URW explains the history of Helvetica, and that Stempel AG (later subsumed into Linotype) did not compensate Miedinger for his work, and by the end of his life, Miedinger was in poor wealth:

This article on Max Miedinger could be way more detailed. I think it should include How Neue Haas Grotesk typeface effected the rest of the world. What changes it made in society, and what it was used for. I think your off to a good start. You should add more information on Max Miedingers earlier career, maybe how he got into type, more information on Helvetica, Helvetica's influence on graphic design the changes it had made in the design world and how it is still used today. I would also suggest you add some images of Helvetica.
