Mistake in discography[edit]
Mavis second eponymous album, Mavis Staples, for HDH Records, is erroneously listed as a compilation album. It is in fact an album of originals, produced and partly written by Brian Holland and Eddie Holland of Motown fame. Released in 1994, the recordings stem from sessions held a full decade earlier – Love Gone Bad was issued as a single already in 1983, backed with Beat Well Done. 2001:1BA8:1470:E600:11FF:EF8C:A207:E1A4 (talk) 21:57, 1 November 2023 (UTC)
