Introduction[edit]

The intro still needs some work. It's "He is" central at the moment. - Dudesleeper / Talk 14:40, 5 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Domestic abuse?[edit]

The Guardian is running a story describing violent behaviour towards Mr Moriss’s ex wife resulting in police caution for “throttling” her. Should this be included in the main article? Ashley Payne (talk) 10:01, 18 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

This is an encyclopedia, not a trashy news site. Allegations of domestic violence don't have any place in an encyclopedia article.

The allegations were widely reported in the national news and Mr Moriss responded to them in the national news. Usually something like that would feature on someone's Wikipedia page. 92.233.43.244 (talk) 09:28, 22 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Semi-protected edit request on 24 November 2021[edit]

{{edit semi-protected|Mark Morriss|answered=yes} I request that the information regarding allegations of domestic abuse on the Personal Life section of this page be deleted. This is an ongoing legal matter and could prove influential to any future court judgements. 92.16.6.184 (talk) 13:22, 24 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia simply reports on other reliable sources. It is not an originator of content and therefore is not influential in legal matters in the way you suggest. QuiteUnusual (talk) 13:29, 24 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
