Hi! @Aithus: About this edit, I'm not sure why the DMY dates template is there. WP:ENGVAR calls for using a national variety of English that the subject is associated with. Civilian US-related articles should use MDY. According to the Miami Herald, "They moved to Long Island, N.Y., and then to South Florida, when Francois, inspired by the Williams family, dreamed of turning his daughters into tennis stars." In other words they grew up in the US and are strongly tied to the US.

@WhisperToMe If she has such a strong national tie to the US, I think you can replace {{Use dmy dates}} with {{Use mdy dates}} and change format of the dates used in the article per MOS:DATEVAR. Aithus (talk) 00:58, 12 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
