WTF with Marc Maron[edit]

Added a bit at the end of the Career section about the new podcast. kev. (talk) 11:26, 4 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Can someone explain what the bold part of this section means, "Marc Maron lived in an apartment in Astoria, Queens but revealed on the 22nd WTF podcast that he was moving back to L.A. and did so sometime in the fall of 2009." Does this mean jail time? I'm rather confused on this factoid. FenderPriest (talk) 18:34, 15 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Dead links[edit]

There were 93 direct mp3 links to libsyn which were dead. I've seen libsyn change their links before, so they've been switched to functional, link-checked Castroller pages, which include descriptions, and working links to the libsyn mp3s. In a way, Castroller is an independent source from both Maron and libsyn, but it is commercial. A new table for a new WTF article[edit]

The podcast probably should be split into its own article, and there's no reason not to continue an episode list on it. The current table is a bit messy so I started on a new one and wanted to get some feedback on it before I got too far and before I actually moved the WTF stuff to a separate article.

There will be a key there, but the blue rows denote live shows. I combined secondary guests and features with live taping arenas because otherwise there would be two columns of mostly empty cells instead of one for large chunks. It could also be used for notes, perhaps, like when the short Janeane Garofalo episode had the Mike DeStefano live stuff or to note the purpose of the Greg Giraldo memorial show.

Upcoming IFC show[edit]

Maron has reported on Twitter and in his podcast that actor Judd Hirsch, not Ed Asner, will portray the character of his father in the upcoming IFC show. — Roger (talk) 23:22, 13 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

"currently dating"[edit]

Seriously? This was updated today in reference to a public acknowledgement of a relationship, and it's already posted here? Is this notable? I'm not that familiar with Wikipedia policy, but I think the standards for notability suggest against this level of creepiness and/or pettiness. 67.241.76.97 (talk) 03:32, 11 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Moon Unit Zappa is a celebrity herself, making the liaison automatically notable. She was an interview guest on WTF not long ago, on which occasion Maron confessed to a serious crush on her. Maron feels the relationship is important enough to mention to his audience (though it does seem only yesterday he was planning on embarking on parenthood with Jessica). So it's on him.

Also, Boomer is missing and presumably dead, despite Maron's habitual Boomer Lives signoff. This article shouldn't participate in Maron's childish denial. 70.173.99.177 (talk) 17:20, 17 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
