Berlin Symphony?[edit]

"From 1929 to 1932 he served as a conductor of the Berlin Symphonic Orchestra." Which orchestra? There are two orchestras named Berlin Symphony Orchestra, one founded in 1949, the other in 1952. Maybe the Berlin Radio Symphony Orchestra (East Berlin)? --FordPrefect42 (talk) 12:45, 29 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I think we speak about the "Berliner Symphonie-Orchester" https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Berliner_Symphonie-Orchester_(1925%E2%80%931932) – however, Lavry is not mentioned in the orchestra's biography. Solobratscher (talk) 14:38, 20 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
