Unfortunately it doesn't work like that here. I don't know what the policy is at French Wikipedia, but the English Wikipedia policy is that wikis don't count as reliable sources. If there are sources in the French article they could certainly be copied across (there's no prohibition on foreign-language sources), but you can't use the French Wikipedia article as a source itself - it fails WP:USERG.
