Malkoc family is Bulgary origine. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ebaali (talkcontribs) 01:59, 12 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

In the article a source claims the family is of Serbian origin. This is impossible due to the nature of the Akıncı corps. All the Akıncıs had to be of Turkic origin, otherwise it was not possible to be assigned to such duty. Also, the Malkoçoğlu Family is very well known to be a member of the Hamidoğulları Beyliği. The beylik was founded around south-western Anatolia by Türkmen Yörüks long before the Turks had any kind of interaction with the Serbs. I'm changing the article, the source is not reliable. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 95.10.140.129 (talk) 20:23, 22 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Until you get a valid source (like the one that says they were Serbian), your claims are mere speculation. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.149.129.120 (talk) 17:08, 23 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Serbian? Haha! All Akinjis had to be "Turkic" origin...[edit]

OMG... Such a nationalist ignorance... (Malkoçoğlu) KARA (talk) 22:25, 14 April 2015

Rather, you are the one showing ignorance. Irregular troops were often of non-Turkic origin. The Ottoman Empire was built on assimilation.--Zoupan 09:27, 15 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
