I reckon the true pioneers of Malaysian hip hop was KRU, mid 90s-ish. Too Phat is part of the late-90s "urban wave". Even so, Poetic Ammo was *the* pioneer of late-90s urban wave hip hop, having come before them (also under Positive Tone). I don't have the facts, and I'm not even into the local hip hop scene, so I can't be the one to expand this article properly. Any takers? --Lionelster 03:50, 29 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]
