Section in lead removed[edit]

The 3rd paragraph, the one about the response of the Trump Administration to Made in China 2025, is inaccurate, misleading, and selective in terms of source reference, probably written by a biased non-native English speaker judging by the grammar mistakes. It is corrected and revised based on official documents and publications.

It was probabaly written by me, a non-native English speaker. Thank you in advance if you can correct grammar mistakes of English language. But "corrected and revised" by removing the whole section and claim as "inaccurate, misleading and selective" is not really appropriate. Opinion can be shared here, as long as it is well supported by the source. This is a "Free" Encyclopedia. Otherwise, I can also call you an innocent biased reader, or even worse, maybe from the U.S. cyber troll army. All the sources used are listed here, please explain which one, and how those are biased, or wrong narrated.

"U.S.-China Trade Talks End With Strong Demands, but Few Signs of a Deal".

"China to Revise 'Made in China 2025' Tech Plan, WSJ Reports".

"China overplayed its hand with Trump on trade, and it could cost them dearly".

Right. Major changes should be discussed. What about a section 'Actual discussion', though WP is not a newspaper, these occurencies will have a longterm impact (longer than a presidency). AVS (talk) 06:26, 22 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Charles K. Kao[edit]

CKK has never lived in Taiwan. Also, as of 2016, he wasn't really capable of contributing anything due to his illness. I think the statement in Taiwan section is wrong. texnic (talk) 23:29, 23 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
