"Love Is a Many-Splendored Thing" is a popular song with music by Sammy Fain and lyrics by Paul Francis Webster. The song was publicized first in the movie, Love Is a Many-Splendored Thing (1955), winning its own Best Song Academy Award.
Who was the singer in the original movie? The Four Aces recorded the most successful version, but their part is worded so that at least I get the impression it was not their version in the 1955 movie. 85.217.44.28 (talk) 19:47, 25 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I choose to add this here because I don't know how relevant it is (and I wouldn't know how to add it). Mexican songwriter and humorist Eulalio González has a song named "Natalio Reyes Colas" in which an inmigrant of the same name has it changed to "Nat King Cole", and the polka style of the song is interrupted in the middle by a sort of early rock&roll, which features the first lines of lyrics of this song. Sorry if my english is not right.--189.162.113.255 (talk) 00:41, 8 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
