notability speculative[edit]

The creator of this page is jumping the gun a little.

At the time of writing Mr French does not meet the notability criteria. According to the betting markets he will likely be an MP in an hour or so, and then will meet the criteria. But let's wait until the returning officer has spoken.

But should we really create pages speculatively? Keirstitt (talk) 00:49, 3 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Age[edit]

We have a source here that says he is aged 33, can this be added to the article [1] Guyb123321 (talk) 12:13, 3 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Electoral history[edit]

Is it normal to put an MP's electoral history in this much detail in their biography? PatGallacher (talk) 13:45, 5 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Having "electoral history" as its own section in politicians' biographes seems to be more common with Congresspeople in the US, but not so much with MPs in the UK; although more recent MPs seem to be exceptions to this, eg. Jill Mortimer and Kim Leadbeater, both elected in a by-election this year. twotwofourtysix(My talk page and contributions) 00:09, 6 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
