Untitled[edit]

I wonder if there are any photos of the one refurbished set of this train. Apparently it was the only one painted in the corporate livery. It would look good on this page. --Dennisman (talk) 17:01, 13 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Black roof[edit]

The unpainted aluminum trains had a tar-like substance on the roof. I always wondered if that was dirt or some sort of weatherproofing? 92.192.189.137 (talk) 04:41, 13 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

1959 Stock on Jubilee[edit]

Regarding these edits, is it definitely a passenger service? Could it be a stock positioning move, the train being worked to or from Acton Works? Acton Works is adjacent to the District and Piccadilly lines at Acton Town, and there is no direct connection between either of those and the Bakerloo. I believe that Bakerloo line stock normally reaches Acton by way of the connection to the Jubilee line at Baker Street; the connection to the Metropolitan line at Neasden; reversal onto the Piccadilly line at Rayners Lane; and so to Acton. --Redrose64 🌹 (talk) 18:44, 19 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
