Undid redirect[edit]

Bold edit, never discussed, so can (and should) be reverted. Next time, there should be a discussion first. Purplebackpack89 (talk) 06:48, 22 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The article had already been tagged for merging on 2008-09-28, and after five days without comment it was merged on 2008-10-02. You then reverted on 2009-02-12 without any edit summary or any other form of explanation. This article still consists of material which has been copied from the history section of the subject's website, and does not attribute sources of any kind, either in terms of copied material, or in order to establish notability. So, would you actually present some reasoning for why you've now reverted the redirect twice, and why this article shouldn't be deleted/redirected? -Optigan13 (talk) 22:24, 25 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
The first time I split it was because it dominated the article it had been merged into (at least half of the merged article was about Log Cabin), and because there was no consensus. The second time was for the above reasons (bold edit, never discussed). I believe the article to be notable enough to be on this Wikipedia, and if this is where you register comment on merge or not, strongly oppose merge. Have a nice day. My first recreation of the article was in reaction to this, which as you can see is dominated by Log Cabin Purplebackpack89 (talk) 16:01, 1 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, that copy and paste dominated that page. But now that we've removed trimmed the content listed on the LA council page, and removed the content from the Wilderness Camp's website there isn't a major difference between what is presented there and here. I'm also concerned that there aren't any sources to backup up the general notability of this subject, or even to verify the elevation of the camp. -Optigan13 (talk) 01:08, 2 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Copyright issues[edit]

I have deleted the material copied from http://logcabincamp.org. If someone associated with that site wishes to donate the content, then they need to comply with Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. ---— Gadget850 (Ed) talk 00:25, 26 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
