I have changed the line 'The hole with the Mint in it' as the play on the slogan is 'The mint with the hole'. Thus the correct term is 'The hole with the Mint'. Pedantic but correct. —Preceding unsigned comment added by FruitMonkey (talk • contribs)

The recent updates are really well researched, but they do feel a bit touristy. There is quite a bit of opinion in this piece which does not belong in an encylcopedia. Could we soften out the lines about love and wonder of living in Llantrisant. It sounds too much like like Nirvana.--FruitMonkey 18:46, 16 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

As someone who came in here about something else (G. T. Clark), my initial reaction was that this was a copyvio from a tourist brochure. However, I couldn't Google anything. It is certainly very unencyclopaedic and I would support a revert (before I put G. T. Clark in). Cutler 15:35, 22 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Education[edit]

There is no mention of the primary school on School Street, I think it's called Ysgol Gynradd Gymraeg Llantrisant now, and wasn't a new school built down on the common that needs mentioning too? I'd do it myself but I have been away from the town for far too long and have no idea of the names etc. --WebHamster 13:10, 9 April 2009 (UTC) The Model House has re-opened. I have edited the section on the ground floor as it contained a mixture of past and present tense.

I have amended the paragraph regarding the closure and reopening of the centre to one that is more accurate.
