Shouldn't she be in the category "bisexual writers" now?

New York newspaper strike 1978, not 1979.[edit]

The year is wrong; it was 1978, not 1979. The strike started on the evening of Wednesday, Aug. 9, preempting the publication of the Thursday, Aug. 10 editions of the two morning papers, The Times and the Daily News (at the time NewYork's third paper, the Post, was still an afternoon/evening paper; it has since become a morning paper as well). The strike lasted for three months, ending in early November. Rupert Murdoch, owner of the Post, struck a separate deal with the striking unions, saying he would match the deal they made with the owners of the other two papers, and thus was able to resume publication in early October, a month before the other two. He also launched a Sunday edition of the Post (which still exists), which it had never had before.Maccb (talk) 02:22, 30 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

"Exclusively"[edit]

During her career, she wrote columns for the New York Daily News, The Washington Post, and Cosmopolitan. She worked exclusively with Fox Broadcasting Company with Roger Ailes. From 1995 to 2005, Smith worked with Newsday.

If she worked with the New York Daily News, The Washington Post, Cosmopolitan, and Newsday, then it would be quite wrong to say that she "exclusively" worked with the Fox Broadcasting Company (which is not affiliated with any of those publications).

Also, is it necessary to mention Roger Ailes by name? That seems pretty gratuitous to me. Kotterdale99 (talk) 19:33, 30 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
