April 2011[edit]

This man's notability is not in question - his works are in dozens of museums, including national museums, and Google finds more than one article written about him specifically. However, none of these articles are referenced here, there are no footnotes to sources, the English is difficult to understand, and the article formatting does not comply with the manual of style. I can't do it because I don't know enough about the visual arts to understand the subject. --NellieBly (talk) 01:27, 6 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Multiple issues[edit]

I have just finished copy editing this article, so it should (hopefully!) be a little more coherent now. In addition, I just wanted to mention that whilst I was sorting out the actual language of the article I also removed a fair amount of content claimed to be from books written by Abramo himself, for two reasons:

  1. Though the editor who inserted the quotes claimed they were from books written by Abramo and included their names, he didn't actually use a proper citation style or include page/chapter details, so they're impossible to check. Therefore the quotes are functionally unreferenced.
  2. Even if they were cited correctly, they still wouldn't be appropriate as it would fall foul of WP:SPS.

Please discuss if you have any issues. Basalisk inspect damageberate 00:05, 20 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
