Guidelines[edit]

I don't see any guidelines for who to include and exclude on this list, so I'd like to suggest the following.

Include[edit]

Performers of regular or recurring roles on any animated series.
Performers with major roles in an animated film.
Radio actors, including DJs who do radio skit work.
Actors who work dubbing foreign films into English.

Exclude[edit]

Individuals who are primarily known for something other than acting. e.g. Al Gore and Steven Hawking, who have had multiple appearances on Futurama and The Simpsons respectively, are not really voice actors.
Performers who have only done occasional voice work. i.e. A one-time guest spot on Robot Chicken should not qualify someone for this list.
Radio announcers who don't generally do any "acting."

Is there any particular reason why there doesn't seem to be almost any Japanese (or for that matter, any other nationality except the U.S.) voice actors in the list?--Cattus ^talk 11:02, 5 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

What should be done about non-notable / redlinked voice actors, that is, ones that do not have a page? I'm assuming international voice actors can link to their language Wikipedia pages. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 16:39, 16 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Rumors?[edit]

I just removed a bunch of old false rumors from this page. Is there any reason why people let rumors sit here? All rumors should be immediately be deleted. Mathewignash (talk) 01:00, 14 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

deceased[edit]

I am going to add some of the big former voice actors from Radio - now mostly deceased. But there are some surprises. I will add a date of death, I suppose to clarify from the living. This will not be a death list, but some of these people have done more work than some of the "big names" in this list.K3vin (talk) 15:36, 12 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Big vandalism[edit]

In edit Special:Diff/710713499, an IP made many changes, possibly mostly vandalism. A lot of "death" dates were changed and reused often. I guess they tried to hide it by fixing a few minor things, too, and changed 2 other pages in similarly sneaky ways. I might try fixing some when I can, but I'm mostly just letting others know that a lot of the info might not be reliable. Zeniff (talk) 11:13, 13 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
