What's the source?[edit]

Re: my placing of the tag, I'm wondering where the student numbers come from, and what types of student they refer to - FTEs, full-timers, full-timers and part-timers? HEFCW usually publish an annual volume of stats, but their last release appears to have been 04/05...Pondle (talk) 15:06, 8 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Dates established[edit]

Some of the dates mentioned refer to the predecessor colleges, others to the date the institutions acquired their present names. It's all over the place.Pondle (talk) 20:53, 8 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Changed dates to those at wikipedia entries for individual institutions. 1 May 2009.

Rankings[edit]

It seems unfair to have one random set of rankings on the page, and since all could not fit on, and the info is available on the universities pages, I am going to remove this column.Xyphoid (talk) 17:20, 25 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama[edit]

Is RWCMD really a university? Its Wikipedia page identifies it as a "conservatoire". It has never awarded its own degrees. It is not included in the box at the bottom listing higher/further education institutions in Wales. Should it be removed from the table?WayneBu (talk) 13:17, 28 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

That's a fair point. It isn't listed separately on the HESA tables for student numbers in Wales (the cited source for most of these numbers), and I'm not sure whether there's any double counting since its merger with Glamorgan.--Pondle (talk) 12:04, 30 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
