Support. I don't think this move is controversial, given that the main article is at "Chalkidiki" now.
Support. Apparently, this move is controversial, but the modern prefecture is almost never transliterated as "Chalcidice", and "Chalkidiki" is the best fit with WP:GREEK. --Akhilleus (talk) 04:46, 5 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Strongly oppose. The move of the main article violated both policy to use English, and the discussion such as it was. Chalkidiki is both unintelligible to monoglot English speakers, and is likely to look silly to them. Septentrionalis PMAnderson 21:30, 1 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
