Change of title[edit]

I see List of operas by Auber has been changed to List of operas by Daniel Auber. I understand this is because there is another opera composer called Michael Auber. Who exactly was Michael Auber? --Kleinzach 05:23, 4 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I've moved the titles back to the standard form. 'Michael Auber' is not not in Oxford (either the opera or the music dictionary) or in Opera Grove. --Kleinzach 01:09, 7 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Manfredi il trovatore[edit]

IMSLP has added Manfredi il trovatore, perhaps an adaptation of an already listed work? Sparafucil (talk) 05:47, 7 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Strange. This opera is not mention at all in the Grove article, and I can't find anything on the net. As far as I can tell Auber never worked in Italy. The volume that IMSLP scanned is from Naples and has no real info except the title on the book spine. Perhaps the book was just mislabelled? --Kleinzach 08:40, 7 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
