Map images[edit]

Sources please?[edit]

Could the author(s) please provide the sources for the population statistics? I checked also the Greek version of the entry, there all three of the links provided are broken. Thanks.

Hi Wikiniceguy123, the reference we use for the 2011 populations (www.statistics.gr/documents/20181/1210503/resident_population_census2011rev.xls) gives different numbers. The numbers are also different from the 2001 populations given in the Kallikratis law text, these are the Πραγματικός Πληθυσμός ("real population"). I found a source that gives more or less the same numbers [1], which gives the 2001 Μόνιμος πληθυσμός ("permanent population"), but I also noticed some errors in the list article. Also the seats of the municipalities as given in the list don't always agree with the ones given in the Kallikratis law reference. The 2011 numbers we use in the municipality articles are also permanent population figures. I think it's better to use these than the current 2001 figures.
