I created this page as an attempt to remedy the desire of some to have a list of the films, and the insistence that such a list not be included in the main Butt-Numb-A-Thon article. I believe this is an acceptable solution to the problem. Bobomejor (talk) 07:34, 10 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Per the discussion had a year ago, I think this list should stay as many film festivals on Wikipedia have lists of the films that played there. See examples such as Cannes Film Festival, List of Sundance Film Festival Selections, etc. Whereas other Wiki pages on film festivals do not have separate list pages -- see Venice Film Festival -- this page was made as a deliberate effort to comply with the Wikipedia policies of not having extensive lists in the main pages of subjects such as film festivals. If Butt-Numb-A-Thon is important enough to warrant a Wikipedia page, then this separate list of films shown there (made specifically to appease the concerns of other Wiki editors) should stand. Please do not remove this entry. Let's err on the side of history and availability of information. Why would we not want Wikipedia to capture this reference information for the use of future generations? I do agree that the information could be better sourced/cited, but we need this page.
