Republic of China (Taiwan)[edit]

The State of Israel does not hae diplomatic relations (a pre-requisite for a diplomatic mission) with the Republic of China. Note the following:[1]

"Joint Communique on Establishment of Diplomatic Relations (January 1992)

China and the Government of the State of Israel on the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations.

The Government of the People’s Republic of China and the Government of the State of Israel have decided to establish diplomatic relations at the ambassadorial level effective from January 24, 1992.

The Government of the State of Israel recognizes that the Government of the People’s Republic of China is the sole legal government representing the whole of China and Taiwan is an inalienable part of the territory of the People’s Republic of China.

The two Governments have agreed to develop friendly relations and cooperation between the two countries and two peoples on the basis of the universally recognized principles of mutual respect for sovereignty and territorial integrity, mutual non-aggression, non-interference in each other’s internal affairs, equality and mutual benefit and peaceful coexistence.

Done in duplicate in Beijing on January 24, 1992 in the Chinese, Hebrew and English languages, all three texts being equally authentic. In case there is any divergence of interpretation, the English text shall prevail."

I have amended the list accordingly. Regards. Redking7 (talk) 10:46, 6 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

PNA representation[edit]

Does Israel have some representation/office/delegation/etc. to the PNA or PLO? Or some special department(s) in PNA/Israeli governments? The PNA and Israel governments do communicate somehow after all... Alinor (talk) 07:42, 29 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Staring years[edit]

I think we should mention the year when each mission was opened. I started by adding the year for Albania. —Ynhockey (Talk) 07:10, 2 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Continents[edit]

Throughout WP the norm is using the following continents:

  • Africa
  • Antarctica
  • Asia
  • Europe
  • North America
  • Oceania
  • South America

Double continents, like the Americas and Eurasia, are not commonly used. Now, Aquintero82 makes a valid point that these continents have not yet uniformly been applied to this series of articles, but that by itself isn't reason enough not to apply the WP norm. gidonb (talk) 23:09, 18 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
