Do Not Add Awards Without a Citation[edit]

Please. I have speant a LOT of time adding a LOT of references to this list. If you want to add sometihing, add a cite with it. If you don't have a cite, add a description of the award below this comment and we will try to find a cite for it. Eric Cable  |  Talk  13:40, 17 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

What happened to all the citations?[edit]

What the hell happened to all the citations I added? Over 100 of them! Why the hell would anyone remove them? I spent a lot of time on it! Eric Cable  |  Talk  12:25, 7 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

As a WP:FL, I'm not surprised that it looks like editors went to great pains to make sure the tables used in this article were WP:ACCESSIBILITY-compliant (see WP:DTT for more). However, the 'Critics associations' table at the bottom looks to be falling out of WP:ACCESSIBILITY-compliance, starting near the bottom of the 2014 entries in the table. I'm posting this here in case somebody else wants to try to tackle this issue themselves. If not, I'll try to get to it myself soon... 01:33, 24 January 2017 (UTC)

Just noting here that the Golden Raspberry Awards for Mother! have been repeatedly added, then removed, from this article. I have no idea what "standard practice" is on this, in terms of these "List of awards and nominations"-type articles, but I'm just noting this on the Talk page in case there needs to be a discussion about this, or anyone would like to point to a discussion on the topic... --IJBall (contribstalk) 18:00, 19 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I was always of the thought of if an award is notable for an article on Wikipedia, then we can't decide not to include it - even if it's a bad award such as the Golden Raspberry Awards. --Gonnym (talk) 17:01, 9 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I have less concern about including the Golden Raspberry Awards for "Worst Actress" (because it is actually about Lawrence, and was reported by various sources) than I do about including the "Most Egregious Age Difference Between The Lead and The Love Interest Award" from Alliance of Women Film Journalists. That allegedly humorous award is better aimed at the producers (the actors don't decide the casting) and I question if it is appropriate to include it on this list at all. (I checked the Wikipedia:Featured list candidates/List of awards and nominations received by Jennifer Lawrence/archive1 review, the issue was not raised.) -- 109.78.199.44 (talk) 05:38, 22 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Removing non-notable awards[edit]

I'm going to remove the following awards as they fail WP:FILMCRITICLIST which says Awards included in lists should have a Wikipedia article to demonstrate notability and as this is a FL article, it should not fail this.

Awards that will be removed:

Change of name[edit]

I request that in title of this page name of the actress be changed from Jennifer Lawrence to Jennifer Maroney due to recent marriage to Cooke Maroney. I can't do it due to some reason. I made the account just for this edit Legend12345677 (talk) 15:33, 20 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Absolutely not. You have provided no evidence that Lawrence has changed her name, and it's TOO SOON regardless. --IJBall (contribstalk) 15:58, 20 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
