Article Move[edit]

I administered a page move for this article, due to the inaccurate title. The list has completely omitted actresses and actors with 2 nominations but 0 wins, such as Cary Grant, Mary McDonnell, Judd Hirsch, etc.; yet the title claims to be list for actors with two or more nominations in acting categories.

It's understandable, of course. The amount of nominees who qualify for that criteria has reached an excessive threshold. So the list only included those undefeated actors like Mahershala Ali--2 noms, 2 wins. But since that's inaccurately representing the title, it felt essential to relocate the article and make necessary adjustments wherever needed. If anyone disagrees, please voice your dismay. Hi Cinemaniac86 (talk · contribs). The previous page title was accurate as the page has not completely omitted actors with two nominations but no wins. Cary Grant, Judd Hirsch etc.. feature in the second table (most nominations for best actor & supporting actor combined) & Mary McDonnell, Jill Clayburgh etc.. feature in the third table (most nominations for best actress & supporting actress combined), so the page does include every single actor/actress with two or more acting nominations. 86.29.49.109 (talk) 23:40, 28 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
