Removal of awards![edit]

In two days I've seen two awards vanish! First off it was the Kansas Film Critics and now the AFI awards. Yet these same awards appear under other films I easily found here including AFI being listed in Inside Out's wiki.

And when I've tried to speak up on it I'm ignored and or my posts on the talk page are removed! When did Wikipedia become a place where vandalism was allowed and never questioned? Or is the some fan war out of jealously of what Zootopia gained in acclaim, box office and now awards.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 2a01:cb19:838a:cf00:c9a6:8cf7:6bde:16e3 (talk) 12:32, 20 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

First, please sign you comments by typing four tildes (the ~ symbol) after your post.
Second, discussion such as this about improving the article is fine. Using the talk page as a dumping ground to put edits that aren't allowed in the article is not.
If you go to WP:FILM and look around the links there, you will see the consensus-derived guidelines and manual of style (MOS) that editors have worked together for years to reach. Reasons for every one of these things were brought up and discussed, sometimes for months. It is intemperate to suggest a conspiracy against you by "jealous fans." And it is the responsibility of everyone who edits Wikipedia to be aware of policies, guidelines and MOS. They're really not that hard to learn. The basic ones are at WP:5P. --Tenebrae (talk) 12:38, 20 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
The guideline at WP:FILM explicitly states "Accolades include award wins and nominations, recognition from film critics' circles, and presence on lists of critically acclaimed films (e.g., AFI's 100 Years…100 Movies)." It also makes clear that it is critics' top ten lists that should not be included. For this reason I have re-added the AFI top ten list. Jaoakley (talk) 20:32, 30 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

AWFJ[edit]

Golden Trailer Awards[edit]

Greetings everyone,

I'm currently updating the French translation of this article, and I noticed the list now has two cells with different ceremony dates for the Golden Trailer Awards. It doesn't seem possible. Isn't there something to fix? Are there two awards with the same name? — J. N. Squire (talk) 16:41, 10 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@J. N. Squire: The film was nominated at the Golden Trailer Awards in two different years therefore two cells with different ceremony dates. Hope that helps. Cowlibob (talk) 21:48, 25 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
