Capitalization of table text[edit]

Is a reason that most of the text within the listings table is in all capitals?

If not, then it should be changed to sentence/title case where appropriate, as per MOS:ALLCAPS.

I don't know why the text saying what is on the markers ("George Washington slept in this house...") is in all caps. When I started to edit this page that style had already been adopted. I presume it's because the text on the markers, the text that is repeated here in Wikipedia, is usually in all capitals. Also, note that this all caps style is consistant across all of the NY county listings of historical markers. HighAtop94 (talk) 04:13, 1 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Count of Markers[edit]

The count of markers is a bit off. #38 is really two markers for New Paltz in New Paltz but note that each of the Ulster County markers is numbered once. #77 likewise enumerates two markers for the Glasco turnpike. #11 and #11b mark different related events at the Bogardus Tavern; #153 and #154 are also at the same place but discuss different aspects of it.
