Assam[edit]

@MrMkG@Maphumor@Lionel Messi Lover@Dev Adhi and other editos, the Lok Sabha constituencies of Assam should be updated with new assembly constituencies. https://ceoassam.nic.in/information/pdf/2_PC%20wise%20LAC%20breakup.pdf XYZ 250706 (talk) 04:04, 20 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Yes I agree. Whoever makes these maps must be informed about it. There is a full graphical map we can find if we search "CEO Assam map" on google from the official site which will give the precise geography.
This must also be done with Kashmir, the official map has been uploaded to Wikipedia on the page 2024 Indian general election in Jammu and Kashmir but no map has been made in the Wikipedia format. MrMkG (talk) 18:03, 21 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Dev Adhi I just reverted unconfirmed edits and speculations. Besides Maphumor probably broke 3 revert rule. XYZ 250706 (talk) 18:02, 24 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Dev Adhi I agree. In Assam, the complete seat sharing excercise is published by many sources and even by CPIM MLA Manoranjan Talukdar. XYZ 250706 (talk) 18:20, 24 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Dev Adhi Can you pls update a current lok sabha map for Assam. See previous discussion in this talk page. I said user Furfur on his talk page. He asked me for a published map. I gave but 2 days have passed with no response. XYZ 250706 (talk) 18:21, 24 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Dev Adhi I am not adding any candidates till now. I have added some seat sharing only based on some sources and comments by party leaders. XYZ 250706 (talk) 18:22, 24 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Candidates 2024[edit]

@Dev Adhi @xyz 250706 what's the need of full name of party with every candidates , colour code is already given, therefore it should be only party colour with candidate name. Maphumor (talk) 20:29, 25 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Do Refer Previous Articles Based On Seat Sharing Dev Adhi (talk) 21:06, 25 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
it has to be improved, what is the sense behind putting full party name again and again. Maphumor (talk) 21:40, 26 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It's looks like damaging not improving Dev Adhi (talk) 09:49, 27 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Do it by yourself Maphumor (talk) 06:05, 28 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Wikipedia is place for constructive opinion but you are indulging in damaging structures/templates which are being convinent to many other fellow wikipedians Dev Adhi (talk) 07:47, 28 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hanuman join INDIA in Rajasthan[edit]

Hanuman's party joined INDIA alliance. Add it. লাল সেলাম কমরেড (talk) 06:31, 5 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Outside INDIA candidates[edit]

@Maphumor, why are you just reverting it again and again without even any statement in your edit? This page is for official INDIA alliance candidates list only, and there will probably be friendly fights on 20-30% of seats, which is 100-160 seats, doesn't mean we need to mention them all. Ok123l (talk) 08:51, 17 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

there is no other place to mention it, just like Kerala, Punjab, West Bengal, why not other states. Every seat Contested by any of INDIA partners should be mentioned here. Maphumor (talk) 08:58, 17 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You totally missed my point. I meant to say that other INDIA party candidates should not be mentioned, I didn't ask to label it "friendly fight". As for Kerala, Punjab, and West Bengal, the other INDIA member party and Congress are in direct contest and it is not a friendly fight, since they are the government and opposition (Eg. UDF vs LDF, AAP vs INC, TMC vs INC/CPM). Ok123l (talk) 09:20, 17 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
where should we add those candidates then. What is problem in doing so. Maphumor (talk) 09:58, 17 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Like I said, this page is literally named "List of Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance Candidates", only the official party candidate should be mentioned. The other candidates need not be mentioned anywhere except in cases like Punjab, Kerala and West Bengal where Congress is the main opposition against the other INDIA member. Ok123l (talk) 15:59, 17 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
How will you determine which party's candidates are contesting within the alliance or outside of it? Kalpesh Manna 2002 (talk) 18:39, 21 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Well, in Assam, AAP said that they would "contest on three seats and support the INDIA alliance in the other constituencies", tacitly admitting that they were contesting outside the alliance. Also, Congress has the largest presence and is the largest opposition & INDIA bloc party in the area. Ok123l (talk) 15:38, 22 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I agree with this stance, it's obvious as daylight what's in the alliance and what isn't in most cases. Non INDIA bloc candidates should be excluded. This isn't the page for them.
Only in Kashmir, Kerala, Punjab and West Bengal (and Lakshadweep) should 2 groups be mentioned. MrMkG (talk) 11:10, 29 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yes , I agree. There will be more and more candidates by INDIA parties in states, where they have no or very little presence. We can't know every candidates. Maphumor (talk) 10:24, 31 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Jammu and Kashmir - AIFB[edit]

Number of seats mentioned for which AIFB is competing has been mentioned 2 in brackets, whereas only one AIFB candidate has been mentioned in the detailed table given thereunder. Please look into the discrepancy. Saket Sharma (talk) 10:59, 22 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
