I would expect that there be some form of objective criteria used to determine who makes the listing. Simba Gill, for example, is an accomplished businessperson, but is not the level of a Chairman or CEO of a major firm, or a national leader.

It might make sense to include people who already have a substantial wikipedia personal profile, as this would indicate that several people are looking at their profiles, and ensuring the data is as accurate as possible. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 220.255.1.80 (talk) 03:41, 19 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I would expect that the type of alumnus matters a great deal. Typically, the term "alumnus" refers to a person who has studied full time at a university, and in particular for programs like INSEAD where the full-time MBA is the flagship program, this is likely the only seriously competitive entry program in that school. An example is Conor Lenihan, listed as an alumnus, he in fact attended a "young managers program" a program of a few weeks that is not competitive entry. Given the flexibility and ease of attending certain courses in business that are prestigious for other programs, it should distinguish between graduates of flagship full-time programs, and certification or other enrichment courses. Equally, on a point mentioned above, the "notoriety" of the graduate should be judged, it's one thing to be a leader in business, it's another to add your name to a page in hopes of gaining an aura of prestige from the presence of people who have significantly different profiles. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.118.10.115 (talk) 06:16, 29 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Extended list of INSEAD Alumni[edit]

Note the following list is too long to be put as such. Please, select the more appropriate ones to be put in the main list. External references (articles, etc.) testifying the 'notability' of the alumni are also encouraged. --Nabeth (talk) 17:58, 20 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
