James Collins[edit]

Ok ummm, I don't understand this. You look here it says that James Collins was loaned out to Darlington. I left that asside because I was confused. The ref. said that this was James Collins the 18 year old striker, and when I looked at the Darlington site. I didn't see anybody name James Collins. – Michael (talk) 22:07, 23 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

WINTER transfer window?[edit]

The transfer window hasn't opened yet, so surely the page should be renamed? Would free transfers made in Febuary be part of the summer transfer window? WFCforLife (talk) 09:06, 24 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, they would. The summer transfer window is (usually) considered to have closed on 31 August of any given year, so it seemed appropriate to include any transfers after that date in the list of winter transfers. Similarly, the winter window closes on 31 January, so the same applies to transfers after that date. – PeeJay 09:10, 24 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Well, this year the winter transfer window is gonna close on February 1st I'll bet because January 31 2010 is on a sunday as you can see here, but there hasn't been any word on it. – Michael (talk) 15:23, 24 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Any more transfers?[edit]

No one seems to have added any more transfers after the 26th of November. Is it because no club has made any loan signings after that date, or is there some other reason? ??? 222.154.45.153 (talk) 02:51, 11 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

IIRC, 26 November is this season's cut-off date for making loan signings outside the transfer window in the English system. If someone can confirm this, it should probably be mentioned in the article. – PeeJay 09:21, 11 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
