"In production"?[edit]

Several of the films listed under "in production" seem to be 2018 releases. Shouldn't they all be moved?★Trekker (talk) 06:16, 20 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

This list has run under the idea of having films as under production until after their general USA release date. The 2018 films you mentioned only had screenings at film festivals or foreign releases thus far. The films move when they are released in general theaters (wide) in the USA. What if they go stright to streaming or never get a US release at all for years due to some issue?★Trekker (talk) 08:25, 20 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, if a film does not get a confirmed USA release date within 2-3 years of its most recent screening/festival/foreign release, then this issue should be discussed. Many smaller independent films take a lot of time finding a distributor after touring festival circuits, so we should be a bit more patient. Cardei012597 (talk) 18:06, 20 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

As it sits now, most of the films you mentioned have only one year in festival circuits. I hope this helps. Cardei012597 (talk) 18:08, 20 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Where is the FNaF movie? Will be exit in 2021. D.C. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 93.36.185.29 (talk) 11:26, 18 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The FNaF film was removed from this list due to its current script being scrapped in November 2018.[1] Since then, there has not been any further recent announcements on its development. Due to this, it was decided that the film was in development hell, possibly quietly canceled. This has happened other times in the film's development. No one working on the film can agree on a working script. I hope this helps. Cardei012597 (talk) 18:40, 18 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Where is the Five Nights at Freddy's movie? D.C. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 131.175.147.208 (talk) 14:30, 17 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The last announcement on the film Five Nights at Freddy's was in November 2018. In November 2018, Five Nights at Freddy's creator Scott Cawthon announced that the film's script had been scrapped and it would be further delayed.[2]

Usually, on the Blumhouse projects list, if a film hasn't released new information within a year (November 2019), the film is considered cancelled or in development hell. Also, a film has to have started filming OR have a 2020/2021 release date, while offering recent development information. There isn't anymore films to add to this list, for now. If there are, I will personally add them to this page. Cardei012597 (talk) 19:12, 17 January 2020 (UTC)

Shouldn’t this be in undated films?[edit]

The remake of John Carpenter’s The Thing based on Frozen Hell shouldn’t that be listed here since it’s going to be a Blumhouse production? Just curious. 0Detail-Attention215 (talk) 14:58, 23 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

No because it’s only in very early development. Same as the FNAF film and Christine. The only films in the “undated films” section are films that are about to film, filming or have already been filmed and awaiting a date. Lukejordan02 (talk) 16:30, 23 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
