Hi BabbaQ. I am doing the copyedit for this article and need a clarification on the sentence, Axmyr was about to be released in 1982 after serving a longer prison term for violent crimes, the last prison term of many which started in 1958 for diverse crimes.. Is this sentence trying to say that Axmyr was about to be released in 1982 after serving the sentence for the 1958 robbery plus additional sentences for violent offense within prison? Would it be correct to write it as Axmyr was about to be released in 1982, after serving the initial 1958 sentence for robbery plus additional time for violent offences within prison, when he was allowed leave.
